Support to the Ministry of Finance in the Process of Introduction of Gender Responsive Budgeting

Overall objective of the project is to support introducing modern performance budgeting approaches in Ukraine based on the example of Gender Responsive Budgeting and in compliance with the on-going PFM process and its specific emphasis on performance-based budgeting. The project, therefore, provides a good opportunity and entry point for introduction of gender perspectives into the public finance management (PFM) and Management by Objective (MBO) processes. The ultimate aim is to strengthen budget policy outcomes by adding gender and social perspective as an analytical category, contributing directly to the reform of introduction of Management by Objectives.
